Who we are

Reveallightning Windows & Siding is a referral service for homeowners. We sit between you and the independent providers who replace windows and install siding. We are not a contractor. We do not send out workers, and we do not do the job.

Why this site exists

Window and siding projects are easy to put off and hard to price. Quotes vary. Terms are confusing. Many homeowners are not sure what they can handle alone and what needs a pro.

So we wrote plain guides. You can measure, photograph and check things yourself. Then you can see where DIY stops. After that, you decide if you want a provider to look at the job.

How requests are matched

You send your details through the request form. That includes your town, the service you want and a few notes about the house. We pass that along to a provider in our network that covers your area and handles that kind of work.

The provider then contacts you. You talk through the project and set up a visit. You can ask questions at any step, and you can say no at any step too.

What we expect from providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

• Explain the job in simple words
• Put the quote in writing
• Respect your questions and your decision
• Follow the local rules that apply to their work

Licensing, insurance and warranty terms come from each provider. Ask to see them before you agree to anything.

What we do not do

• We do not install windows or siding
• We do not set your price
• We do not promise timing, savings or insurance payouts
• We do not handle repairs. Our referrals are for window replacement and siding installation, and window projects start at two windows

How we are paid

Providers in our network may pay for referrals. You do not pay Reveallightning Windows & Siding to submit a request. Your price is set by the provider and shown in your written quote.

Measure each opening. Take clear photos of problem spots. Note which rooms feel drafty or damp. Then ask each provider the same questions so you can compare fairly.

It also helps to write down your budget range and your must-haves before the first visit. That way you stay in charge of the talk, and the quotes you get are easier to line up side by side.
